Who we are

Bermondsey Rent Co is the trading name of James Cleaton, a sole trader. We decide how your personal data is used, so we are the data controller. Business address: 10 Westerdale Road, London, SE10 0LW.

What we collect

When you request an assessment: the services you are considering, the property address, postcode and number of bedrooms, your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), how and when you would like us to contact you, and anything you add in the message box. Please don’t include tenant details.

How you found us: if you send an enquiry, we also receive the page you first arrived on, the website that sent you (if any), any campaign tags in the link, and which button took you to the form. Your browser keeps these only for the length of your visit and sends them only if you submit the form.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, assess your property and, if you want to go ahead, prepare an offer and agreement. We also use how enquiries arrive to see which pages are useful. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before an agreement, and our legitimate interest in running the business. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies and tools

This website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising tools. It is hosted by Netlify, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any agreement that follows, and to meet our legal obligations.

Your rights
